El Macizo Colombiano is the geographic breakpoint where the Andes mountain range splits into three distinct ranges and forms the water source for five of the most important rivers in Colombia. This particular lot comes from the heart of the Macizo and the location of the tallest waterfall in Colombia. The coffee harvest is organized around the Asociacion Regional La Cascada de Bordones and their collective of 400 acres in an area called Bordones, in the Municipality of Isnos
This nutty coffee is smooth and almost sweet. Medium bodied with flavors of papaya and subtle notes of white wine. It has a bright acidity. Also available in Dark Roast.
